About us

At the heart of V&V Engineering is a story woven from passion, craftsmanship, innovation and sustainability. Our journey began not simply as an engineering company; we have grown out of a rich tradition of plastics processing. In doing so, we combine the art of the old with the wonderful world of advanced automation.

Our deep-rooted love of plastics processing shows that we are more than just engineers. We are true craftsmen. Every day, with every fiber of our organization, we strive to strike the perfect balance between traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology, with a strong emphasis on sustainability. It is this unique combination that sets us apart and opens the gateway to success, not only for ourselves, but also for those who rely on us: our customers.

As dedicated injection molding experts, we focus on creating perfect plastic products with an eye for environmentally friendly practices. We offer a comprehensive service: from the initial mold design to the careful selection of sustainable raw materials and the final delivery of impeccable products. All under one roof, resulting in seamless integration of processes and a streamlined logistics experience.

Customer satisfaction is at the forefront of everything we undertake. We understand that we don't just make products; we build trusting relationships. We achieve this through flexibility, by actively thinking with our customers and by delivering on every promise made.

3 generations in plastics and engineering

In 1953, our company was founded, and since then, we have built a rich history and deep expertise in plastics. Later, V&V Engineering emerged as a spin-off, building upon this tradition. Today, V&V Engineering is a leading all-inclusive partner, excelling in every aspect of plastic processing. From mold construction and product development to the actual injection molding, we master the entire process.

At V&V Engineering, we combine our extensive knowledge with advanced technology to transform every idea into a high-quality product.

1953

First Generation:

Octave Bakeroot founds Framoplast in northern France.
The company began producing finished products manufactured from Bakelite.

1954

Framoplast developed a child-friendly socket, an innovative and patented product that was sold to Philips in Eindhoven.

1955

Framoplast acquired its first injection molding machines and targeted France's perfumery and pharmaceutical markets, later specializing in medical packaging. Concurrently, Belmoplast (now PLASTUNI) was established in Belgium, producing pharmaceutical bottles. These moves strengthened both companies' positions in France, Benelux, and Switzerland.

1958

Framoplast introduceerde transparant polystyreen op de markt. Octaaf Bakeroot kwam met het innovatieve idee om een plastic reageerbuis te lanceren, als vervanging voor de traditionele glazen bloedanalysebuizen.

1970

Second generation:
In the 1970s, 80% of the focus was on clinical biology, along with partner Labo Expres Service. The companies continued to grow, resulting in the opening of a new production facility in Boeschepe, France in 1970, and a second facility in Ninove, Belgium in 1975.

From 1980 until 1990

Automation of petri dish and bottle production.

1999-2000

Third generation:
